Oh no, more gorgeous babies coming your way!!! And not just any gorgeous babies, pittie puppies!!!
This pups owe their life to their foster mom who risked life and limb (kind of) to get them out of where they were - she heard they were outside in someone’s yard under some rocks being protected by a male dog but not being cared for by the human owner. Off she went and she was able to retrieve momma and the 7 pups thank goodness - daddy stayed behind with the human. It took a bit of convince daddy dog that she was not there to harm anyone and he almost came around but didn’t make it easy.
They are now just over 6 weeks old and are so adorable - they’ve grown up with their momma in a loving environment, safe and warm. Evangeline, their mom has been a fantastic mom - caring for them all along. There is no doubt these will be well adjusted, happy dogs when they are older.
They are growing like weeds and we expect them to be medium sized dogs when full grown - daddy looked to be a pit mix as well, medium size. Mom has the most sweet personality and temperament.
Don’t wait to long to decide, these stunning creatures won’t last long.

PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life, do you have the time??
Please review this checklist for socializing puppies - do you have the time - ask yourself before adopting.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION -
Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
