UPDATE AS OF 8/14/22 Mocha recently arrived t her new foster home in MA, she is with two foster dogs and she really relies on them for her confidence. Mocha is a timid girl and her foster feels she would do best in a home where someone is home often and an other dog is MUST.

Mocha is treat motivated so training has been going pretty easy. She takes a little time to warm up but after she does she is your best friend.

She is doing well with house training and sleeps through the night.

If you have a furry friend for Mocha to play with and your willing to do some puppy training then she could be the puppy for you.

Mocha, her sister, Truffle (also listed) and their mama were removed from a rural southern home at 5 weeks old. All of them are now flourishing in a foster home.

These adorable girls are both very playful, but also love to chill and hang with their people.

They are both good with other dogs of all sizes and didn’t pay any attention to the cats in the clinic.

These brindle beauties sleep all night in their crates and whenever the foster is away from the home.
Housetraining is in process.

As with all pups, they will chew on things but they are easily redirected to toys, which they just adore to share and play with.

All these babies need now is a loving forever home!!!

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You will be required to attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy so if you experience behavior issues you have a point of contact.

PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life, do you have the time??

Please review this checklist for socializing puppies - do you have the time - ask yourself before adopting.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
