FOSTERING IN NEW ENGLAND

Trinket (a.k.a “Tink”) is looking for a loving forever home full of fun, adventure, and dedication.

This spunky young lady was found abandoned in Mississippi on a very hot summer’s day. Lucky for her, Tink’s finder took her in and fostered her in preparation for her trip to New England. While in southern foster Tink quickly adjusted to living inside with three other pups, running, playing, and resting, accordingly. She is currently living (and loving) her foster’s resident dog (10-year-old lab). Tink can read a room…she can be calm and self-entertain when other dogs are not interested OR she can play with the best of them! She is a puppy after all.

Tink loves treats and toys and is a VERY smart girl. She is food motivated and will be eager to train with her forever person. She also LOVES water. In foster she’s been staying cool in her kiddie pool or playing in her water bowl.
Tink will do best with someone experienced with her breed (Shepherd) or with experience in training a puppy or adult dog. She is sensitive to loud noises, and hesitant at the start of new situations; a confident, patient, and understanding owner will help her greatly! She enjoys walks and will do best in a suburban neighborhood, as city noises will be a lot for her.

Tink is crate trained and her house training is coming along nicely! She has quickly learned to go to her foster’s back door when needing to “do her business”. When in the crate Tink may make some noise but settles in nicely for a nap or bedtime. Upon exiting her crate she greets her foster mom with a hug, every-single-time. And dinner time, boy does she get excited!

Tink loves everyone she’s met and chooses to show her appreciation with kisses! Like lots of unlimited kisses. This sweet baby girl is full of love and will be an amazing addition to someone’s home!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
