Sweet Ruby is in search of a new home - her family had to return her to us as their son developed asthma, and the physicians caring for him suspected allergies was a contributing factor - her mom is so worried about her moving because she says Ruby is such a good girl - very sweet.

Ruby is very loving and focused on being with her people and following their directions.

She exhibits all of the energy and activity level of the breed, so couch potatoes need not apply!

Currently Ruby would do best as the only pet because of her high prey drive and need to be bonded with her people.

She is definitely looking for an active family that loves to be outside!!

Due to Ruby’s size and activity level, children in the household should be older.

Ruby is with a local foster and ready to meet her forever family!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
