Three GORGEOUS hound puppies - and trust us, they are hounds!  Long legged and bouncy.

Charlize, Charley Girl, and Josie, all listed on our site - approx. 5-6 months old - we don’t know how they landed in the shelter they were in as we only took them into our program when they were taken from a “foster hoarding situation.“

These three siblings were pulled from a shelter in San Diego TEXAS sent to a foster home that turned out to be not so great - there were many puppies at this location and many of them developed parvo, a viral illness affecting their GI system - we were able to get the three puppies we took from this situation into a local vet in the area where they stayed 6 days until well.  They were released and are bounding around like they never had anything wrong!  Amazing recovery.by three very strong willed pups.

They are now with one of our foster moms and are having an absolute ball as you can see from all their pictures - they are thriving and doing great with all their foster siblings - loving humans and catching up on their social skills. They could play for hours and they do. They seem to have zero residual effects of their early illness.

We hope to have them ready for travel to New England by mid-June into their new forever homes and if not, they will go to foster homes where they will continue their search!

Don’t miss out on one of these little punkin’s - puppies don’t get much cuter.

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You will be required to attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy so if you experience behavior issues you have a point of contact.

PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life, do you have the time??

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
