Jack Jack has arrived in New England this past weekend and his new foster mom would like you to know that….

He is awesome!! We have had him for a few days and he is already part of the crew. He has liked all the people he has meet, big and small and is gentle. He loves being with his humans, whether it’s one of the kids or an adult. Do you work from home? He spent yesterday in my husband’s office and just slept next to him. He loves a good walk and has been great on leash. My 13 year old daughter walks him. His recall is also really good. He has done great with my dogs; they have played a bit bit mostly just do a good job being in the house together. He hasn’t shown any negative behaviors thus far towards the other dogs. He is just a good boy all around

Would you rather exist on a chain in a backyard, covered in fly bites, or live in a comfortable house with nice people who adore and pet you and also have yummy treats? Nobody asked Jack Jack that question, but the answer is clear just by looking at his always smiling face.

This poor handsome guy was so miserable in his former life—itchy skin, hair loss, eye infections, and heartworms.
Jack Jack is just truly appreciative of the endless TLC he is now receiving in his foster’s home.

Jack is a happy, friendly, and very loving boy. His whole body wiggles with joy at any attention or kindness shown to him. He has never experienced the comforts of a loving household and doesn’t even seem to know what toys are, but he is ready and eager to master life as a housedog.

This smart pup already knows how to sit on command and is very treat motivated.

Housetraining is going very well–he has only had one accident in the house and will bark if he needs to go outside. He will go into his crate for a treat. He tolerates crating, but it is not his favorite place to be. Jack would love to be in a home with a family who is able to spend most of the day with him.

Jack was so happy to meet some of the other dogs in his foster home and plays well with most of the dogs in the foster home. However, he loves his humans the most and wants to be right by his foster mom’s side.
He LOVES to hang out on the sofa and watch TV.

Jack passed his cat test. He has not yet been tested with kids, so we are saying children over 12 for now.
He walks on a leash, but could use some additional training with it.

This boy wants to be the perfect pup and just needs love and attention—and cuddles and TREATS—to get him there.

And who would not want to be the person or family to be greeted by his big, goofy smile every morning???

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
