This is Ava. She is a very sweet girl with a very sweet face, who also happens to have a very sweet heart. You can see the good in her every time you look into her eyes.

She has a very happy spirit. Tail is always wagging.

Ava enjoys being outside. Will just sit/lay down and smell the air and watch the surroundings. She enjoys snuggling up on the couch and watching tv. She does like belly rubs. Will help you cook, is a great watcher who will even get out of your way and not try and trip you like other dogs for the chance of food. She does enjoy going for walks. Will show you where the door is. She does pull on the leash but is improving and will improve more over time.

Upon her arriving we were told she was good with other dogs. We do feel this is true. However she will need a few days 3-5 to decompress and feel comfortable before meeting/playing with a potential new friend in her new home. You will start to understand her more each day come day 4 and 5. We did have a small mishap the first day but looking back upon it, we feel it was mostly due to her being anxious as her first couple days she was anxious and didnt eat as was the same with her previous foster. We did not know this at the time until we asked after the fact. Ava does enjoy suckling blankets and her bed. She will even occasionally fall asleep while suckling in suckling position. It is adorable. Can probably attribute to her slight anxiousness.

Ava and our dog do get along fine now and one day while out for a walk, 2 loose dogs got out and ran at Ava and she did nothing but act like they were her friends.

Ava has never had an accident in the house and is good in a kennel and gets along great with people. She also loves car rides.

If you have gotten to the end of this and are interested in this girl, Ava would like to tell you to look at her photos and her adorable sweet squeezable face and tell you that you too one day can squeeze it. She would love nothing more than to be yours.

Ava is NOT a spaz at all - she can chill and relax.
She’s 3-½-years-old and not a puppy or chewing on stuff.
She doesn’t destroy things.
She loves going on car rides.
She loves belly rubs! So affectionate!
She holds it all night and goes outside to do her business (she doesn’t mess in her cage).
She seems to have an energy level of 6 out of 10

We think Ava will be a very loyal and affectionate companion for the right family/individual. She’s silly and has a playful spirit! She is dog selective. We think with a slow introduction she’ll be fine.

She is a lovebug, is so affectionate, and we just adore her!

So that about sums up her foster family’s feelings! She sounds amazing right??? And did we mentioned she’s a very good girl?
