Looking for a future Olympic long jumper (see the joyful video), Mensa candidate, or just someone who likes to snuggle and watch tv?  If so, then Benji is your pup!

This guy had humble beginnings in Memphis at the end of a chain.  Thank goodness he was rescued him before he spent too much time in the elements.

He is still learning all kinds of commands and is working really hard.  He appears to pick things up quite easily… hence the Mensa candidate.

This boy is a lover!  Just look at all his snuggly pics.

Benji is crate trained and house broken.  He sleeps in his crate through the night and takes daily naps in there too.  He does need a little motivation/treat when getting in his crate. He is only a year old, so he’s just like a teenager-not quite trustworthy when it comes to having the run of the house.  However if he has a toy to chew, he’ll munch away on that instead of your favorite chair.

Does this boy sound perfect or what?  He practically is just that.

His fosters/adopters are just heartbroken.  After falling in love with him and introducing him to their pack of three dogs, his fosters decided he was home.  Benji folded right into the pack until it was discovered that he didn’t really like to share with his siblings.  Youngest child syndrome? Maybe.  He thinks all the toys and the ottoman are his and his alone.  Can you blame him?  The ottoman is super comfy for movie night.  For this reason, this wonderful pup needs to be the only dog in the house and no dog parks.

How about a nice fenced in yard? Are you ready to spoil Benji and give him his best life?  He deserves it!

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
