Meet Cici, the ultimate love bug, who just adores attention and affection.

Cici was with her three puppies, when they were rescued from a car where the “owner” was giving them away. All were extremely thin with very poor skin. Our southern rescuers did not want these precious pups to get into the wrong hands, so they scooped them all up and asked PAWS if we would take them.
Since that time, good nutrition, treatment and bathing have lead to all of them looking superbly better.

Cici is house trained although she needs to be taken out regularly. She also uses the bells hanging at the outside door.

This gray beauty loves to play with toys and with the other dogs in the house.
She loves walks and does not react to other dogs while leashed. She is leash puller, so some training is needed there, but she is treat motivated and very smart, so with consistency and patience, she is slowly “getting it”.
She wants to play with the cats, but is sometimes a bit too rough with them.

Cici is also crate trained, but her foster trusts her loose in the house for short period of times.

Cici is very gentle. She is not aggressive when taking away toys. And she relinquishes her toy when another dog tries to take it from her.
Cici would be fine with older children, as she still is jumpy when she gets excited and may topple over a smaller toddler. She is very much still a puppy!! She is being trained with an “off” hand signal.

Cici is truly a wonderful pup and her adopter will have a very special girl. She is full of personality and gets the zoomies when excited. It is hysterical to watch her. She would make a wonderful pet for an active family or an individual who wants to take her for walks or runs as she is an energetic girl and loves to explore.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
