“Ah Louie, Louie, Louie, Louie! Ah baby, you know I’ll love you so!
No need to cross the sea for love with Louie Louie right here-waiting for thee!”

Okay, So a song master he isn’t, but a great pup he surely is!
Louie is a strikingly handsome, fun, lovable big guy looking for adventure with you. Although his southern foster hasn’t had him all that long, she will tell you he is a hoot! He has been around her 3 yr old and was very gentle. He can climb a metal fence so can not be left in a yard with a metal fence with out supervision. He just wants to be with his human and is a great snuggle boy.

Louie is crate trained and goes in with out an issues. When he is in his crate he is often rolling on his back and delightfully playing with his covers or chewing on his big red Kong. He was not taught many manners in life so he is still learning all the house manners. He never had any leash training, but he is eager to please. His foster found a harness works good for him but he is still working on not pulling. So basic training is something Louie is going to benefit from and we can tell you about a great on line training program that is very affordable and you can do it right at your home.

He gets along well with all the other dogs and especially enjoys group activities involving running and wrestling! If you don’t have another dog in your home maybe doggie day care is something to thing about a few times a week for him. He will do well with our with out a dog in the home, he just needs to be kept active and socialized.

If you want an active dog in your life, sweet sweet Louie Louie is the guy for you!

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need
