FOSTERING IN NEW ENGLAND!!

Have you seen more gorgeous blue eyes?!? Just imagine them staring lovingly into yours!!!
And those ears! You will never need cable TV:)

Dear Miss Ida Blue was found wandering the streets of Memphis with her tiny puppy after Hurricane Ida struck the south. Luckily, they were picked up one of our amazing southern rescue partners. Her time in her initial foster home showed her to be a great mom and an overall awesome dog. Her pup, Layla, was quickly adopted and now it is mamas turn to find a forever home.

This gorgeous girl is fine with other dogs and just loves to run, run and play, play. Fetch, chase, tug o’ war…you name it! After some playtime, she is ready for a comfy nap on the couch or on your lap. Don’t you dare tell her she is a bit oversized for a lap dog!
And, by the way, if you are someone who requires some personal space or if you do not enjoy slobbery kisses, she is probably not the dog for you..Ida is a very affectionate pooch!

Ida would love a doggie playmate, but would also be just fine as an only dog as she just loves her humans! Being a young girl, she will need sufficient exercise and human or doggie play time.

This girl is crate trained and has great leash skills with an easy walk harness.
We are working on basic commands, and progressing well, as she is treat motivated and smart. Consistency and patience being the key!!
Ida is house trained with a doggie door at her foster home.

Ida has not yet been introduced to children. However, we think she would make a great companion for older children. She is too busy and bouncy for younger kids and may inadvertently topple them over.

This gorgeous mama craves attention from her favorite people and can’t wait to find her own family to love. She is sweet tempered with medium energy and is guaranteed to fit in great in most homes.

Here are some videos of her playing with her foster sibling:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
