This cutie-pie is Betty Bee!

This precious girl was left alone after her owner moved, but this was made known in a very short time and our southern rescue angels swooped in and immediately placed her in a foster home, where she is thriving!

Betty is very active with lots of playful energy. She would do best with a family willing to commit to daily exercise – long walks, playtime in the backyard, etc. She loves playing with other dogs and would make a great companion for a reasonably active dog.

This girl is crate and house trained and has quickly picked up on the household routine and is already responding to simple commands. She knows the leash means it’s time to go out and becomes very excited. She nudges at the leash hanging from it’s hook, indicating she wants to go out. And she loves her walks!!
She has not yet been exposed to children or cats.

Betty is still a pup entering early adolescence, so she still needs supervision as she is still trying to figure out what is a an appropriate chew item. She’s just learning to play with toys, though still does not know what to truly make of those high pitched squeaks..

Betty Bee is a smart, loving dog who will be a great addition to any home.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.

Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
