Moira Rose hit the big time and has moved out of Schitt’s Creek and up to New England!
Moira is a sweet, lovable, adorable 8 month old puppy with the cutest perky ears. She has settled in nicely with her foster family and is enjoying all the comforts of home-comfy beds, toys, lots of treats and a large yard to run and play in with her 3 new dog buddies. Moira is a bit cautious when meeting new people and needs a little time to trust you and feel safe, but once she does, you’ve got yourself a new best friend! She loves to sit and cuddle with her family and will lay on her back for belly rubs.
Nothing makes her happier than to be snuggled up in a soft blanket next to you on the couch or bed watching tv,reading, or listening to music.
Moira loves to wrestle, run, play and hang with her dog friends and actually needs at least one (or more) friendly, playful dog(s) in her new home. Having a canine companion for her helps make new experiences less scary and builds her confidence.
Moira is a well-mannered little girl that loves to please her family. She sits nicely for treats and takes very gently. She knows sit, down and is doing great with recall. Walks nicely on leash. Fully potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps through the night without a peep with her three dog friends and foster mom.
Moira is fostering with three older children and we feel she will do best with respectful kids ages 12 and older.
Moria’s new home will need to include:
-A friendly, confident and active canine to provide leadership and exercise.
-A fenced-in yard. Moira’s foster family continues to expose her to new situations to help her overcome her shyness. A secure yard will provide Moira with a safe space without distractions.
-A commitment to ongoing training.
This amazing girl will truly be a wonderful addition to a lucky family!

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.
Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
