Scratch is the sweetest and most loving pup. He’s a great dog in every way and will become the best addition for any family.
Scratch showed up on his foster’s front porch with terrible skin issues and clearly not feeling well. After a vet visit and TLC from his foster, he is really getting comfortable and showing his happy side. His skin issues were found to be the very treatable condition of demodex mange and he is responding well to his meds and healthy diet. His coat is coming in and it’s GORGEOUS!!!
Scratch is very happy go lucky and doesn’t let much bother him and he is so very friendly; isn’t rowdy- he kind of just goes with the flow. He walks right along with the other dogs. He’s great on a leash either way.
Scratch is crate trained. He usually goes into his crate willingly and a treat will make him want to go in even more. He eats in his crate so there usually isn’t any problems. He is happy however to be in his dog bed as that his is his safe place and he hasn’t had one single accident in his crate. He is kenneled when left alone, but his foster mom thinks he will be fine alone with just a bit more time.
He loves toys and treats and he’s not destructive with anything.
He does well riding in a car.
The only work he needs will be additional training on basic commands, but he is smart and treat motivated, the perfect combo!
Invite Scratch into your home to become a permanent family member and you will not be disappointed. This sweet boy loves everyone and will make one new lucky family so happy. He’s guaranteed to fit in well on any couch.
All he needs is someone to play with and snuggle up beside.
