Meet Hobo! Aka Bobo aka the boski broski aka hobmiester aka hobsters.

He is a wonderful, loving, active (but not overly active), bundle of cuddles and love. Even though he is a large dog, you can’t tell him that, because he thinks he is a lap dog. He loves to cuddle and get head scratches, chase balls and play tug. Hobo doesn’t dislike cats but it is better that he is in a family that does not have any because he thinks they are toys for him to chase. We have been working with simple commands and he can sit (for treats) and is working on lay down. He knows what “outside”, “treat”, “walk”, “inside”, and “no” mean. But he can be slightly stubborn at times. Hobo is an amazing, lovable, good boy and needs a forever home that can give him as much love as he has to give to them.

Hobo plays well with other dogs in his foster home. He is okay with not being alpha but will defend himself if necessary. The shelter employees told me Hobo was the dog they used to behavior test dogs new to the shelter. He has always been pretty easy going with other dogs.

He is house trained and has not had a single accident! He should be considered a flight risk when he first is in his new home as he loves to explore and will run out if given an opportunity. Hobo also has been known to climb a 4 foot chain link fence so he should not be unsupervised in the yard.

Hobo is truly an amazing, cuddly boy who would love to be in your home!
