Mojito is a pint sized girl looking for her forever home!
Mojito was picked up as a stray with her sister, Mai Tai. We don’t know any of her back story.
Mojito needs a quiet home without a lot of activity and noise. She is very timid girl. Time and patience are going to be essential. She warms up slowly, but watch out! Once she is comfortable and trusting of you, she will shower you with kisses.
She enjoys running zoomies in the backyard. If she hears snacks being opened, she is the first one there to receive one. She loves apple, yogurt and peanut butter dog bones. She has done great with our resident dogs, but does not interact with them much as of yet, still acting very submissive.
This girl is still adapting to being on a lead. She is quite fearful of the leash and the feel of it. Training will need to be a slow process. Though we are sure she will eventually adjust, we are now requiring her to have a fenced in yard for her safety.
Miss M also has a bit of separation anxiety, and can be vocal when you first leave her alone in her crate. Therefore, no thin-walled apartments for her. Mojito is working very hard on housetraining and realizing that stairs are not that scary. Consistency being the key!
Mojito is truly a lap baby at heart. She attaches to her person and worries when they are gone. A retired person or someone who could take her with him/her would be great. She also would do well with a confident dog sibling to show her the ropes.
Mojito is a sweet pup. It is an amazing experience to watch a girl like her come out of her shell. She will need a family that understands this and is willing to help her grow into the amazing dog she is!!
