Roscoe is 50 lbs of sweet and silly ball chasing fun. He absolutely loves to cuddle up on you for a good belly rub and then roll around on the ground and chew on a good bone. His favorite thing is to romp around the yard with his doggo foster siblings. He loooooves to zoom. He is also really enjoying doggy day camp a couple times of week.

Roscoe came to his foster home scared of basically everything that moved- brooms, hoses, dust rags, you name it. He has conquered those fears, but still finds the vacuum cleaner and the lawn mower to be quite vexing. He is house trained and knows some basic commands. He is also walking so much better on a leash. He doesn’t like going in his crate- but he is calm in it.

Roscoe needs a home without a lot of different people coming and going all the time. He has a case of stranger danger and becomes nervous and protective of his home. His foster family has a dog walker that was introduced to him during his first week and he loves when she comes over. So if you have a neighbor/friend/relative who is over often- Roscoe will accept them as long as you introduce them early. If you do have different guests over he’ll have to be crated or put in a safe spot where he isn’t nervous. Or he could always be dropped at doggy day camp and you all have a great time- it’s a win win. Roscoe’s ideal home would have a fenced yard and another dog to play with. He is a great pup that deserves a family of his own!
